The two giant pandas at San Diego Zoo have mated, with the panda cam's eyes discretely averted. Hopefully Bai Yun will have her third cub in about 4 1/2 months. There are fewer than 200 giant pandas in captivity out of China, and less than 200 in China. About 1,600 giant pandas live in the wild.
